Macedonia, Central Greece, the Peloponnese, Thessaly, Epirus, the Aegean Islands (including the Dodecanese and Cyclades), Thrace, Crete, and the Ionian Islands.
You can hear the Greek accent being spoken right across the 6000 Greek islands of Greece!
From dawn to dusk from sunrise to sunset, you can hear the Greek accent resonating in the wind, as the sounds carry and spread across the lands of Greece!
But, having said that, it’s important not to forget, there are some very strong Greek accents. A strong Greek accent can interfere with the line of communication when speaking English. Reducing and softening a strong Greek accent, can help you to improve your speaking skills.
Remember, Speaking is a Skill.
